Part of the fun of being a volunteer is dressing up for the annual July 4th Parade as “Aunt Sammy” to promote the local community book sale. Other costume-events are dressing as a 1905 School Marm to lead a history walk down the main street or riding in the annual parade as a 1905 Saloon gal because Western towns were famous for more saloons than any other businesses in those wild, early days.
