Dr. Penny Rafferty Hamilton, an award-winning writer and photographer, partnered with the Grand County historical association to create this book. Grand County uses photographs gathered nationwide from archival sources, private donors, and the author's portfolio--some of these images have never before been published.

Using archival photographs, each title presents the distinctive stories from the past that shape the character of the community today.
